But, all perspectives of a similar nature are on display here. Some folks feel that the brain is mostly responsible for all language processing. They assume that this brain region is responsible for translating noises and transmitting messages from person to person. The first form of this view of music processing is called synchronistic: sound-to-language model. This model claims that language is transmitted through the ear and if we know a language it is possible to understand the significance of the sound. The next view is that sounds are in reality sound. We then say that sounds aren'tsound since they're in reality a noise. This can be viewed from hearing a word fornoise likebuzzing. Noise has no meaning. It is simply noise. The next opinion is that the mind has an audiosound processing mechanism. This view says that all sounds could be translated to mean something. The fourth perspective of music processing is that the brain isn't in control of what is being played. It only knows how to perceive things. A person could be able to listen to and interpret sounds however, the mind can not actually perceive anything, what'sjust sound. This view claims that our mind only perceives those items which are meaningful. Music therapy is commonly practiced in which the patient is performed straightforward or intricate parts of music by an ear, or a trained artist that also aids the patient. This also assists the patient to adapt to the music and also to locate the inherent meaning. By changing the sounds, the individual will learn to recognize different meanings and so be able to speak about and understand their own experiences. All these views is legitimate in some way. As soon as we learn a new piece of music the mind instantly adds new connections in the new information to areas in the brain related to audio processing. Due to the sheer complexity of audio processing in the mind there is not any 1 answer to the question, where is music processed in the mind?
